Having worked with community care organizations for a number of years it was obvious that the dull often not very convenient conventional walking stick that was and still is in use needed to be brought into the 21st century , having realized that, I was pleased to find SWITCHSTICKS had done just that, redesigned an old, much needed, item to help with the mobility and confidence of the users , adding convenience , folding to a small size so as to fit in a hand bag, extra lightweight, strong, and available in a myriad of beautiful colors to brighten up the lives of the users.

Having also spent much time in Australia's great outdoors hiking, bush walking etc. and using hiking poles/hiking sticks of various types and knowing how useful a hiking pole/hiking sticks can be on a long hard hike or walk, we have been more than impressed with the SWITCHSTICKS range of hiking poles/hiking sticks. We are pleased to include this great product range in our on line shop.
SWITCHSTICKS hiking poles/hiking sticks are well designed with a shock absorption suspension system which reduces stress on back, knees, legs and feet, providing extra power and balance when hiking uphill as well as taking pressure off back and hips, and reducing shock on knees when hiking downhill. You can choose to use one or two poles to suit your needs .
